Village

The majority. Find the wolves before they eat the town.

✓Apprentice SeerDeath triggerIf a Seer is eliminated, you become the Seer.
✓Beast SlayerDeath triggerWhen you are killed, you strike back. Name a player. If they are a werewolf, they fall with you. If they are not, your blow misses.
✓Blacksmithvariant of gunsmithNight actionOnce per game at night, forge a sword for another player. During the next day they may use it to cut down one of their living seat-neighbours. It rusts at nightfall if unused. You may not arm yourself.
✓BodyguardKey roleNight actionEach night, choose a player to protect. If they would be eliminated, the Bodyguard dies in their place.
✓Boy Who Cried WolfNight actionOnce, you may cry wolf at night and name who you think the pack will attack. Guess right and you save them. Guess wrong and it was a false alarm. No one will believe your warnings again.
✎Bumbling PINight actionOne night per game check someone to see if they or their neighbors are a werewolf. Thumbes up if one or more is a wolf. If you get a thumbs down you plant a bomb under the seat of the person you check if they die their neighbors go withthem

✓Hunter's ApprenticeNight actionA villager who starts known to the Vampire Hunter. Each night, investigate a player to learn if they're a vampire.
✓InnocentDay actionOnce per game you may stand up and reveal yourself as a confirmed villager. Everyone learns for certain that you are on the village's side.
✓InsomniacPassiveEach night, learn whether anyone visited you. You do not learn who.
✓LookoutNight actionEach night, choose a player. Learn who visited them.
✓LoverPassiveLinked to their group at the deal. If one Lover dies, the Lovers linked to them die too. Lovers can be of any alignment.
✓LycanKey rolePassiveA villager who appears as a Werewolf to investigators. Variants exist for faking the death reveal or bluffing a Hunter revenge.

✓MirrorNight actionEach night, choose a player. If they gain investigative information tonight, you learn the same results, with the context to know what they found.
○MorticianNight actionEach night, choose a dead player and learn their alignment: human, wolf, or other non-human (vampire, etc.). The graveyard counterpart to the Seer: you read the dead, not the living.
✓Old ManPassiveThe Old Man dies of natural causes after a fixed number of nights. Optional variant: recognizes the Old Woman at the start of the game.
○Old WomanDay actionDies of natural causes after a fixed number of nights. Once during any day, may use her skillet to eliminate an adjacent player.
✓PixieNight actionEach night, you may change the wolves' target to a player adjacent to that target. After using it, you cannot use it again the following night (so it works every other night).
○PrinceDay actionThe first time the Prince is voted out, the vote fails. Royal-decree variants substitute another player who dies in their stead.
✓PrincessDeath triggerIf you are eliminated at night you reveal your role and survive.
✓Professor Impatiencevariant of troublemakerDeath triggerIf you are eliminated, by the vote or at night, the next day's vote eliminates two players instead of one.
✓PsychologistNight actionEach night, choose a player and learn whether they are capable of killing but have not killed yet. Once they have killed, you can no longer tell.
✓ResilientPassiveSurvives the first attempt on your life. The next one still kills you. Borrowed Time variant: if you would die at night, you are told, live through the next day, and die at the end of the following night.
✓RobberNight actionOn Night 0, pick a player to rob. If they're a village power role (not a plain Villager) you get a thumbs-up and rob them; any other team or a plain Villager gives a thumbs-down, you can't rob them.
✓SeerKey roleNight actionEach night, choose a player and learn whether they are an active wolf.
○SpellcasterNight actionEach night, choose a player. That player cannot speak during the next day.
○StakeoutNight actionEach night, choose a player. Learn whether they went out and targeted someone.
○Switch Witchvariant of witchNight actionEach night, sees the wolves' target. Once per game, may redirect the wolves' kill to another player.
✎Tactical BomberDeath triggerWhen you die, you may explode and choose either two players to your left, two to your right, or your to neighbors die with you. If you elect not to explode no one else dies with you
○TapperNight actionEach night, tap a player. They privately learn they were tapped.
○TrackerNight actionEach night, choose a player. Learn who they visited.
○TrapperNight actionEach night, set a trap on a player's house. If that player is targeted by anyone, one of the targeting players dies. May set a trap on own house: if not targeted, the Trapper dies in their own trap.
○TribunalNight actionOnce per game at night, call a tribunal. The next day's vote eliminates TWO players instead of one. Voting reopens automatically after the first majority lands. Everyone learns a tribunal was called.
✓TroublemakerDeath triggerIf you are eliminated, by the vote or at night, the next day's vote does not stop at one: the village keeps voting and eliminating until a wolf or other evil player falls. Everyone is told.
✓UnderstudyDeath triggerWhen the first non-mundane village suspect is eliminated, you become them, taking on their exact role.
✓Unreliable Seervariant of seerNight actionTheir card reads Seer and they investigate each night, but their results are forged by their sanity. Only the host knows.
✓Vampire HunterNight actionEach night, pick a player. Learn whether they are a vampire. If they are, they die before they can act. If the vampires also target you the same night, the vampire dies and you survive.
✓VillagerKey rolePassiveA regular villager. No special ability.
✓WardenNight actionEach night, ward a player. Non-kill powers targeting them have no effect, but they can still be killed.
✓WitchKey roleNight actionEach night, may use a potion. Heals protect, poisons kill. Sees the wolves' nightly target.
○WitnessDeath triggerWhen eliminated, may publicly expose another player's role with their dying breath.
