A setup is a lineup of roles, usually with the house rules that go with it. Start with a tested one, or build and tweak your own before game night.
Starter setups
Basic 5
Lineup + rulesThe simplest game there is. One wolf, one Seer, and a small town.

Lineup + rulesOne wolf and the Minion who covers for them, against a Seer and four villagers. A great first full game.

Five in the Dark
Lineup + rulesA tight five player game where deaths reveal nothing.
5 players · 2 wolf team · 3 village
No Reveal · Classic, but deaths reveal nothing
