Village

The majority. Find the wolves before they eat the town.

✓BodyguardNight actionEach night, choose a player to protect. If they would be eliminated, the Bodyguard dies in their place.
✓CupidNight actionOn the first night, pick two players to be lovers. If one dies, the other dies too.
✓DoctorNight actionEach night, choose a player to protect from elimination.
✓HunterDeath triggerWhen eliminated, may eliminate another player.
✓LycanPassiveA villager who appears as a Werewolf to investigators. Variants exist for faking the death reveal or bluffing a Hunter revenge.
✓MasonPassiveOn the first night, wake to learn the other members of the Mason circle.

✓Alpha Wolfvariant of werewolfNight actionEach night, along with the other wolves, choose a player to eliminate. Once per game, on the night after a wolf is voted out, you may turn the player you choose into a Werewolf instead of eliminating them.
✓MinionPassiveKnows the werewolves; village wins if you survive to the end. Clawed Minion preset transforms into a Werewolf when all wolves are eliminated.
✓WerewolfNight actionEach night, along with the other wolves, choose a player to eliminate.

Independent

Loners with a private win condition.

✓JesterPassiveAn independent role who wins the instant they are eliminated by any means. The game ends immediately.
